Details of Kshethram:Moolavar: Sri Vallabhan Thayaar: Selvathirukozhundu Nachiyar Vimanam: Chathurangakola Vimanam Pushkarani: Ghantakarna Theertham Travel: This kshetram is at Tiruvalla town near Kottayam in Kerala.

Azhwar Pashuram: Namazhwar: 10 Pashurams Sthala Puranam:According to legend, Mangalathammai used to observe Ekadasi vratham and feed one Brahmachari on the Dwadasi day. Tolakarana, a demon was creating hurdles to her vratham. Responding to her prayers the Lord killed the demon and came for the feast in the form of a Brahmachari, and later gave darshan to her with Lakshmi adorning His chest and gained the name Tiruvazhmarban. The place Tiruvalla originates from the presiding deity Vallabha. *** According to legend, Ghantakarnan achieved moksham at this kshethram. The presiding deity is said to have been handmade by Vishwakarma as instructed to him by Lord Krishna Himself. Vishwakarma wanted to establish the Lord at this kshethram at the end of Dwapara Yugam but it is said that Garudan hid the Lord till Kali Yugam had taken full effect. Later Garudan established the Lord here. This kshethram has a separate shrine dedicated to Sri Sudharshana Charkathazhwar.
